"Vocado is a Swedish vocal group with six members in their late 20s. The group was formed in 2004 and has since then given hundreds of concerts and toured the world, appeared in local and national broadcasts, performed at festivals and produced their own Christmas and Spring shows.
Vocado has taken part in international A Cappella competitions, and received several awards. In May 2008 Vocado won First Prize in the Leipzig International A Cappella Contest. In July 2010 the group won First Prize in two categories - Pop and Jazz - at the renowned vokal.total competition in Graz, Austria. In January 2011 Vocado was selected ""Choir of the Year"" by the Swedish Choral Society.
Vocado perform a wide range of music, but with an increasing focus on original songs. In August 2011 Vocado released their debut album Northern Lights."
