Audiofeels (PL)

Their musical adventure began in the Adam Mickiewicz University Choir in Poznań where they all met. Beginning as an a cappella group only, they soon discovered the lure of Vocal Play and thus became the first Polish ensemble to use that style of making music.

Following their debut concert, which took place in their hometown in April 2008, Audiofeels gave a series of stunning performances in the first edition of Poland's Got Talent and won the hearts of both the Polish audience and the jury members. Their performances are magical shows. Using only their vocal chords to replicate instruments, Audiofeels in fact become instruments to create an impression of an entire orchestra on stage. Each performance is a magnetic fusion between the real – rich vocal harmonies, and the illusion – charismatic instrumental stage appearance. In October 2009 Audiofeels released their first studio album – “Uncovered”, which features covers of the songs by Simon & Garfunkel, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sting or Metallica. The album reached #2 on the Official Retail Sales Chart (OLiS) in no time. Having sold in thousands of copies, “Uncovered” became a gold-selling album in less than two months. In the months following the release, Audiofeels toured across Poland, sharing their music, their energy and their unique style of performing. In June 2011, after two years of intensive work and continuous presence on the Polish stage, Audiofeels first international appearance, at the 5th International A CAPPELLA Contest Leipzig, earned them an excellent reputation and they came home with two major prizes. In 2011 Audiofeels signed with Mystic Production and in November the group released their second album, "UnFinished". This 14-track double album features not only famous covers from Massive Attack, Justin Timberlake or Nirvana, but also, for the first time in the band's career, their own compositions. The album produced a single "You came close", which was also featured as the group stole the show with their rendition of Nirvana's “Something in the Way”, Seal's “Kiss from a Rose”and The White Stripe's“Seven Nation Army” and won the top prize as well as the much-valued audience favorite. Audiofeels are the first Polish group to win the internationally acclaimed Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival in New York and they were the first Polish ensemble to represent the region at the 2012 National Finals in San Rafael, California on the 12th of May.

Audiofeels have just finished working on a brand new DVD. The album was recorded at a live concert that took place at The Grand Theater in Poznań. DVD “Live” will be hitting stores in November 2012
